Initial meeting with Maureen and Sandy at the store was great. They were both helpful in choosing colors. That's where it stopped. Received countertops in a timely manner but backsplash in kitchen was 1/2"" too short in height all the way around. Fabricator (Johnny) was here originally for all of about 5 minutes measuring but refused to take any responsibility for his mistake. After waiting for a couple of weeks for them to find more granite and recut backsplash, my husband came up with a solution. There doesn't seem to be much communication between the store and shop and no one calls back to say they are working on the problem. John was belligerent when we talked to him. We were originally going to order flooring tile also, but after this fiasco, we've gone elsewhere. If you're looking for granite, marble or any other kind of tile, I'd suggest you stay away from Racine Marble & Tile. Other than the installers, one of the employees doesn't appear to know (perhaps care) what he's doing.
Pros: Installers were great!
Cons: fabricator doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes
