I will say on many occasion I have drove by the Salter Path location and saw the US foods truck in front. Seafood Industry is sometimes a slow one and to keep suply and demand and not lose money to other markets they buy imported shrimp and then sell them to you as local. I will say that sometimes they do buy local shrimp because I know some of the fisherman they purchase them from- If you want fresh seafood then I say go to Normans. It is a small market and the womans husband catches everything that they sell if not it is purchased from local fisherman- also you must try the keylime pies Mrs. Norman makes. They are out of this world. I am a local so I know local seafood! Friends don't let friends eat imported shrimp!Trust me on this one!
Pros: somethings our local
Cons: imported shrimp
