They had a ""store cat"" used to catch mice. This cat was poorly mistreated, he had a very large sore on his right leg (had been there for over one week) he did have any food or water, or any place to go to the bathroom, so he used the entire store as his cat box. They asked me to take the cat to the Vet for them. After finding out the Vet charges I called the Owner of the store, who told me to have it put down or bring it to her and she would shoot the cat in the head. The Vet put him down, per the Owner of Johnson's hardware instructions. I called the Owner of Johnson's Hardware and told her the charges incurred, she refused to pay me or Vet Technician (who paid for the exam). The answer for why they cannot pay us is because they don't have the money, total $145.40.
Please do not support this store because of the cruel and inhuman treatment to animals.
