I was desperate to get fitted for a wig for my mother's funeral tomorrow. Holly told me she'd fit me in, not bothering to tell me there was no stylist available today. She also spent less than ten minutes with me, showing me only two wigs, and acting as if that was an imposition. In desperation, I decided to take the second wig after she disappeared for twenty + minutes, figuring the stylist could make it work. She didn't bother to inform me that there was no stylist avilable until after she'd run my credit card, and then I was left with no option but to cut and style it myself in order to have it ready in time . Needless to say, my efforts didn't turn out too well. Now I've either got to attend my mother's funeral with no hair or horrible obviously fake hair. And I spent nearly $900 for the privilege. Maybe I'm hopelessly naive, but I can't believe anyone would take such blatant advantage of someone in the circumstances I found myself in today. She could have just told me that there was no way she could accomodate me in time, and I would have gone elsewhere, but I'm betting she works on commission.
