Toughest ribs in Portland 1/22/2009

After reading several reviews, I decided to get a slab of St. Louis style ribs, beans, coleslaw and a slice of pecan pie to go.\r I was surprised to see that they call 7 ribs a ""full slab"". Not only were they full of fat and grissle, they were so tough it was hard to bite the meat off them. The coleslaw was just bland shredded cabbage with a hint of ranch dressing. The beans were quite tasty, but way too watery. Good beans are scooped out, theirs can be poured like water. The pie was one of the worst I have ever had. Not only was it the smallest piece of pie I have ever been served in my life, it consisted of just crushed pecans and a gooey tar like center that kind of tasted like pecans. If there was a crust, I couldn't find it. They would be much better off getting their pies from beaverton bakery or even costco.\r Next time I want a ""full slab of ribs"", I'll go to Claim Jumper.\r Steve Fisher - Beaverton Pros: good service Cons: tough ribs more
