Don't let the outside fool you! 1/13/2009

As humble and nondescript as the exterior is (it's in one of Cary's oldest strips on East Chatham) nothing except word -of-mouth would make you visit. We went because someone told us about it and we read a glowing review by Greg Cox. We ate there last night. We were the only diners at 6 p.m., but business picked up by 7 p.m. when we finished. \r Service: The waiter was attentive, but a bit slow. Our food arrived hot and in a timely manner.\r Atmosphere: Plain, well-lit, Indian music videos playing on two big flat screen TVs, ""candles"" on the table. Nice.\r Menu: Some of your favorite dishes from Northern, Western and Southern India including vegetarian. Their specialty however is from Hyderabad. I have never seen Moglai dishes on an Indian menu in the Triangle until here. It is a menu sure to please.\r Food: Outstanding. We ordered everything at ""medium"" heat, but could have gone one level spicier. Butter chicken swam in a sea of fragrant sauce with plenty to go around. The baingan bharta tasted as fresh and delicious as it could, eggplant bursting with savory juice, nuts sprinkled about and I think lentels too.\r All resting on soft delicious basmati rice. Garlic naan had to be the best I've ever tasted.\r Our waiter urged us to come back on Friday or Saturday night for the buffet.\r We will go back in a heartbeat. Pros: Authentic Indian food more
