I purchased a Kennedy Half Dollar Set from World Coin of Sarasota from one of their eBay auctions. My winning bid for this item was a bit below the current retail value for this item, so World Coin & Jewelry Exchange decided they didn?t want to sell this item to me at my winning bid amount. They mailed me a Kennedy medal instead , and when I called to ask why the had sent the Kennedy medal and not the Kennedy Half Dollar Set they told me. They Said: ?We must have mailed your Kennedy Half Dollar Set to the eBay bidder who won the Kennedy Medal and sent you the medal to you by mistake?. and ?We have contacted the other buyer but they have not gotten back to us?. THE only problem is that when I checked with eBay, World Coin & Jewelry Exchange had not sold a Kennedy medal of any kind to anyone in the previously month! So they fabricated this story in hopes that I would fall for it. All I can say is Beware, if they will screw one person, watch out for what they might do to you?
