Hurricane Gustav - this was a time when neighbors and businesses (most of them) got together to help each other cope. Not this hardware store. Purchased a chainsaw to the tune of nearly $400.00 and it was defective. When I went back to the store to exchange it, the manage smugly told me ""No returns - it's our policy"" - OMG!!! - we just experienced a hurricane and I wasn't RETURNING it, I wanted one that WORKED and had the proper chains and accessories so I could cut my trees! Subsequent visits to this store only reaffirmed my suspicions that because of their location they can be a$$holes to all of the population whenever they want, storms or not. By the way - there is an excellent store on Hwy One in Port Allen that sells the same saw and the customer service is everything you want in a hardware store.
