I ate at Cugini's in Chesapeake for the first time this past Friday. We had the Antipasto salad and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The salad dressing, which they make at the restaurant, was outstanding, as was the salad. The pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious. I have never tasted a better crust. They were very generous with the toppings. We also had the garlic knots, which were served piping hot and covered with parmesan cheese! Yum. The restaurant has been under new management for the last 8 months. We learned from the new owner that he has expanded the menu, which consisted of everything imaginable - seafood, veal, pasta, stromboli, desserts, etc. If you love Italian food, then you need to try Cugini's - you won't be disappointed.
