They will suggest to replace a whole lot of parts that don't need attention, and will charge alot of labor hours. My brother took his car in because he needed to replace a fan switch. their quote said he needed to replace a whole lot of gaskets and seals and hoses, they were going to charge $120 for a cooling system diagnostic, and $300 in labor, all together the total would have been $700. When he told them that he was taking the car to another mechanic and did not want them tio work on it they still charged him the $120 plus another $20 for a gallon of coolant. STAY AWAY!!!
