Recently, I was very dissatisfied with Mike's Deli in Burlington. It took a while for me to be greeted, and when I went to pay, the lady told me that Mike had just decided to stop allowing customers to use their discount card unless they paid with cash. I bought this discount card so that I could get the discount that was advertised on the card. There was no "fine print" stating that the card could only be used on cash purchases at Mike's. The rude cashier told me "It's Mike's deli, so I guess he can do what he wants." I hope this change was worth losing a customer over (please note...it's not losing 50 cents that upsets me...it's poor customer service and dishonesty)!
