I love this little store, floor to ceiling stacked with new and used books. When looking for a specific, mainstream, new release, I generally go to one of the big chains like Border's, but if I am looking for something off-beat, I am off to Bookends in a flash. When my son was doing a report on Samoa, I was able to find a used paperback out-of-print edition of an account written by a nineteenth century missionary. When my daughter was studying the Supreme Court, I was able to find an obscure account of politics at that level. The staff are extremely helpful, and it is fun just to sit on the floor and browse.
