I took my cat in as he was blocked, which is life threatening.\r
He spent two days there and it was $1700+. I had to ask to see the vet when he was released, which I found very strange. They didn't give me much info and the info they did give seemed confusing and contradictory. No to urine acidifiers, but they gave him Hill C/d which is an acidifier for instance. They gave me no options as to anything else I could feed him, as I think vets and Hills are a little too cozy. The vet did not take me back to the examining room but just talked in the lobby. I saw no lab reports. They didn't seem entirely cold, but also seem to be in it for the money.\r

My real vet is much better, but also doesn't have emergency hours.\r
