While in town for business we walked from our hotel to the Gray Street area to find somewhere for a relaxing dinner. The outside of New York Pizzeria is inviting. They have tables lining the sidewalks. It looked to be the perfect place for a glass of wine and dinner. Everything was fine until we actually placed our order.\r

We asked for a wine list. There is an entire wall taken up with wines. However, we were presented with a plastic card holder containing a limited choice. We ordered our wine. 15 minutes later the waitress returned with my friends glass but not mine. She advised they were out of that wine. She failed to return with the list so I could chose another. 10 minutes later she came back. with the list. This should have been a clue. But sitting outside in the evening breeze was enjoyable. We are easy going and thought it was no big deal. \r

The salads came quick. The cucumber salad was delicious. However it did not contain feta as advertised. Good none the less. This was the bright spot.\r

I ordered the greek calzone. My friend ordered tortellini. The calzone came out 15 minutes later. But there was nothing for my friend. No mention of his dinner at all. We assumed the waitress returned to the kitchen to get his dinner. 15 more minutes passed. The waitress came by and we pointed out that we were missing a dinner. No apology, no regret. Just a confirmation of what he had ordered. We waited another 15 minutes and nothing. We decided to give them 20 more minutes. No one ever returned. Note that they were not busy - this was a monday. \r

At 20 minutes we got up to leave. The waitress happened to be coming back outside. She asked if we needed anything? We again explained that we had never gotten our 2nd meal. She looked confused. Again no apology, no acknowledgement. We left just enough cash to cover the food that was delivered. We left. \r
Pros: Good salads
Cons: Amazingly bad service
