it's fairly well known in the black community that this place is not friendly to minorities. I had always heard this from friends who had visited the restaurant but decided to check it out myself. I'm white but I went to Madison Park Cafe with 3 black friends and the food was good but much to my disappointment the service was BAD! \r

We were not seated for a while, even though there were plenty of seats, we were ignored the whole time, and the servers were rude. \r

I went back the same day with a white friend. This time it was even busier but we were seated promptly, the service was much better, and the staff was attentive. It's a shame that I have this to report when the food is so good. \r

I can't say for sure it was due race but it sure confirms similar stories I've heard about the place.
