This restaurant is out of the way for me (Alamo Heights) so when I do go there I'm salivating from the fact that I know this pizza is going to give my taste buds an explosion of stretchy, greasy (in a good way) , salty mozzarella, tangy sauce bursting with homemade flavor and a thin crust that crunches so good and melts in my mouth. When you want authentic terrific ""pizza pie"" , make the trip to Florio's. I can easliy say that nobody makes a pie like them. Caparelli's does compare. The only pizza that will pass the taste test besides Florio's is Napoli's in Boerne.
