Some of the delicious appetizers I have enjoyed at Pappardella have been Fresh Antipasto Platters, Mozzarella Caprese, (Fresh Mozzarella, Vine Ripe Tomato, Basil and Balsamic Reduction) a great Caesar Salad, a nice selection of gourmet Pizzas as well as a great Cheese Selection. Entrees include the Ravioli D'astice (Fantastic Lobster Ravioli), the Pappardlla Buttera (Pasta with Sweet and Spicy Sauage in a Vodka Sauce), the Spaghetti Polpette (Pasta with Meatballs in a spicy tomato Sauce), Filetto de Salmone Raspighi (Seared Filet of Wild King Salmon, Vitello al Parmigiano (Veal Cutlet), Pollo Milanese (crispy free range Chicken Cutlet), Agnello alla Griglia (grilled Rack of Lamb) and the Bistecca de Manzo (grilled and aged New York Strip Steak). For desert I often indulge with an assortment of Gelato flavors, the Tiramisu della Casa which they pride themselves on having the ""Best in New York,"" Formaggio (artisan Cheeses) and their Torta de Cioccolato (warm flour-less Chocolate Cake).\r

Pappardella is among the best near Lincoln Center and Central Park. This homey restaurant offers rustic Italian cooking and superb service. I always ask about their fantastic specials of the day. Pappardella has a spectacular ""Picnic Basket"" for two which contains all that you could ask for: Appetizers, Entres, Deserts, Beverages and a Table Cloth all for a great price. And it's healthy too! I take this to Central Park for the concerts and just for fun with a bottle or two of their fine Wine. This ""Picnic Basket"" food is so good that I sometimes have it delivered to my home for lunch. They have free delivery. \r
