Moved to the eastside and was eager to join a synagogue in the area. Well, we joined and never really felt welcome despite going to events and having a child in the school. Sad because we were looking for community. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Pros: Beautiful building and centrally located
Cons: Not welcoming, poor follow up and very expensive
