I can't speak for the experience of the first reviewer. I know the new owners and it's hard for me to believe that he would throw a hissy fit in front of customers. All banquet halls have contracts you will sign, and rules you need to follow, especially if they serve their own food. You're not only paying for the food, but for the use of the hall, their equipment, their employees, the electric bill, the heat, the air conditioning, etc. Bottom line, read the contract and know what you're committing to, and what you can and cannot do on their property, and what you can and cannot bring onto their property. \r

As with anything in life, you can't please all the people all of the time, and there are always 2 sides to every story, so the smart thing to do is not rely on the negative opinion of one person to be your deciding factor on whether or not to try this place out. Go for a fish fry and see for yourself! \r

They have a great Friday fish fry (try the beer-battered fish, it's excellent, plus there are other choices such as cod and walleye...they serve more than just one thing, even chicken for the non-fish eaters). They also have great buffet selection, as well as nice banquet facilities, and have expanded their menus/service to include lunches during the week. I for one plan on having my wedding reception at their hall. I have absolutely no doubts or reservations about their food, hall or service whatsoever!
