A rude waitress marks our last visit to the Sunset Restaurant. When I ordered my second Diet Coke the grey haired waitress with glasses launched into a speech of the ill effects of diet soda and Nutrasweet. After her mention ""you really shouldn't drink those.."" was given an icy response she continued with her own chemical analysis and effects of Diet Coke. Finally I had to tell to ""LEAVE ME ALONE!"". Question: Isn't she suppose to be making my evening a pleasant one? Does she also counsel the five martini crowd that frequent this establishment? That finishes our trips to this place. Do you think they'll miss five guys regularly eating prime rib dinners? $$$ The expensive food while always good just doesn't make the grade anymore. In addition, the place has never been cleaned of the incredible smoke residue left behind after the smoking ban. The stale stench permeates every molecule of the building. Finally the place is lighted and decorated like a funeral home. Perhaps all of the senior citizens serving tables there don't know they're dead yet?
