I found a beautiful dress but was strongly encouraged to order a size I knew would be too big. Since I considered them to be the experts, I ordered their recommended dress size and had to have it altered down 3 sizes; it never fit as well as it would have had I ordered the correct size. I paid to have extra length added because the floor model that I tried on was a tiny bit too short and I was not advised by I Do Bridal otherwise. I ended up having the extra length removed by my seamstress plus an additional amount because the store model was not an accurate representative of the true length. I used a seamstress recommended by I Do Bridal, only to find out through a different source that she formerly worked for them. I ended up spending the same amount in additions to the dress and subsequent alteration charges to remove some of the same, as the price of the dress itself, only to end up with a dress I loved but could never be made to fit quite right. Overall, the customer service at I Do Bridal was fine- until I made my purchase and had to make choices about the length and size. I was told the dresses ""tend"" to run small, which was not the actual case with my dress. My experience at I Do Bridal would have been much different if I had been informed more accurately about my dress instead of given generalized statements about all of their dresses. I have heard of similar experiences at other wedding gown boutiques, so in that sense I Do Bridal is probably ""average""
