I leveraged this group in 2002. The movers were late, sent one gentleman who was only able to fold blankets so I was forced to help them move all day. The truck wasn't big enough even though they has supposedly came to estimate the house for truck and number of movers. All of this was irritating but nothing in comparison to how the workmen talked about the owners not paying overtime and having guns pulled on them by clients because the owner use a trick to get more money in cash. I didn't realize I would be the victim of this as well when the owner told the employees to lock the truck until I paid in cash, which wasn't the agreement. So after moving all day, I was forced to get my wife to go to a bank to get cash. I also had the luxury of having to move all the items myself that they didn't get since their truck wasn't big enough. Worst consumer experience of my life and my concerns only receive rude comments from the owner and a locked truck. I have used a lot of movers and it is always a stressful time but this company made it unbearable. I would carry each piece of furniture by foot before I would use this company again for free. I can only speak to the Richmond office as I know they are in other cities.
