I am pregnant with my first child and was recommended to this practice by a co-worker. My last two appointments in two months have been cancelled due to "family emergencies" within the practice. The first cancellation was because another doctor - not even the one I was seeing - had a family emergency and apparently my doctor was covering some of the other doctor's appointments. I was not happy that they called and canceled less than an hour before my appointment, but decided it was uncontrollable. I was 2 hours late for work that morning and had to miss more work later in the week for my rescheduled appointment. At my rescheduled appointment, I had to wait over an hour to be seen. The office called me at 7:30 this morning to cancel my 10am appointment for an ultrasound. This would have been my first appointment in over a month (and my last appointment was canceled also) and I have been very worried there is something wrong. I was told this cancellation was due to a family emergency as well. I was rescheduled for later in the week at a time that will mean I will have to miss the second half of my work day and my husband will not be able to go with me due to work obligations. I am currently looking into switching to another practice because I find their frequent cancellations unacceptable.
Pros: friendly doctors, pretty friendly staff
Cons: long waits, frequent cancellations
