I have been a customer of Mitchell's hair salon for as least 10 years. I was so excited when they opened the Spa by Mitchell's in Cary Mall (also one at TTC). Every service that I have gotten has been excellent. I concur with the other reviewer that Thahn is the best. I would hightly recommend her alone. She always remembers you and asks questions. I even send my husband to her for a men's facial...he is already asking when he can go back again! I frequently have Amanda do massages for me and she too is very kind and does a great job.
As opposed to the other Mitchell's salons, the front desk staff here is always very nice and courteous. I think the manager's name is Hope, and I see her up front and around the building frequently when I am there. I know that has to be part of the reason for the professionalism I see. True, some of them may be in high school so I will cut them a bit of slack on the gossiping at the front. I am sure I did the same when I worked during school!! At Crabtree, the front desk girls are so rude and unprofessional.
Overall, I would high recommend it. The only con I can think of is that you need to make your appointments in advance b.c. they fill up quickly, esp, during the sale weeks.
Pros: Ambience, knowledgeable staff, convience
Cons: Fills up quickly!
