I stayed at Moors resort (lodge) for 4 days, 3 nights. I began developing a rash on my hands while I was there. The day after returning home,. I decided to see my dr., thinking that maybe I had picked up something while at Moors. My dr. told me I had scabies! I immediately contacted the lodge manager to relay what had happened and the response I got was unsatisfactory (to say the least). It was suggested that I had not gotten scabies from their lodge but had it before I stayed there, and also b/c their sheets and towels are "professionally" cleaned. The fact that I had recently stayed in a lodge was a key factor that helped my doctor diagnose my problem. And I do not appreciate the insinuation that I brought this problem to Moors! I will definitely never be back, and would not suggest that anyone go here either!! On a more positive note, the restaurant and marina were satisfactory, unfortunately the contraction of scabies overshadows my visit there. 1 star for unsatisfactory from me.
