Gyro Plus is absolutely the worst restaurant I've been to in the 10 years I've lived in Austin. The ambiance inside is terrible. The plastic tablecloths are ragged and torn; the walls and floor are dirty; and the place smells as if they haven't cleaned the fryer in a year. We waited over 20 minutes to get our previously prepared hummus, dolmathes, and lamb, all of which were barely edible. I managed to choke down 1/4 of my meal only because I smothered everything in cucumber sauce (which was sub-par but not outright disgusting). If you love Greek/Mediterranean like I do, don't bother with this place.
