I have been eating at Jade Palace since before Deerbrook Mall was there, about 29 years. I started coming here when I was 4 or 5 and we would commute from Houston to East Texas via Hwy 59, we would always stop at Jade Palace for dinner. Since then I have eaten Chinese food all over the world, and I have to say Jade Palace is still the best Chinese/ American food I have ever had. The egg rolls are the absolute best and the shrimp chop suey is also made perfectly. I always order chop suey when I come to a new town or city and never find it made the same. The service is also impeccable with some of the same faces that have been there since I was a kid. Besides the Chinese food I also highly recommend their steaks. They make them exactly to order. Everytime I go back to Houston I go no matter how far out of the way it is.
