Just so you know, I have never written a bad review about a restaurant on here before. It takes something REALLY bad to make me spend my time on a Saturday night doing this. But, this experience was bad enough for me to spend time warning people. My husband and I regularly go to Eddie V's and we were looking to try something new. Joe DiMaggio's looked nice and we figured, given the location (high rent) and crowd, it couldn't be bad. What a disappointment!!! The steak was terrible... I would have sent it back at Outback, so obviously I expected better when it was $42!!! It tasted BAD... not just no flavor, but BAD flavor. I really don't know what they did to it. To replace the terrible steak, my husband ordered the special (swordfish) - also AWFUL - no flavor and overcooked. I ordered the seafood risotto, which was ok... I probably wouldn't have complained about it if the steak AND swordfish had not have been so bad. The waiter was fine... but I am really disappointed that when we had TWO bad meals, no manager even came to talk to us. Not that we wanted anything for free, but it would have been nice to at least have felt like the management cared enough to apologize for the fact that we spent almost $200 on probably the worst meal I have had since college. I will NEVER go back here. Eddie V's is a little cheaper and far and away better (by a LANDSLIDE). Don't waste your time OR money!
