I went to this bakery because ""everyone"" said how awesome their white choc shavings chiffon cakes are. Well, we ordered this for a Bridal Shower Aug. 3rd, 2008. They are closed Sundays so they delivered it Saturday to the banquet hall. It was decorated pretty, I will give them that. The cake itself was HORRIBLE! It was sponge-like and had absolutely NO TASTE whatsoever!!! I thought for a minute it might be stale because it was delivered the day before. I don?t think that was it. It was just bland and TASTELESS! There was not one person at this shower who finished their piece of cake. $115 dollars down the drain! I could have used a box cake and it would have tasted 10x better! I am so very disappointed with Viking. They are supposed to be one of the better bakeries in Delco?..I will stick to South Philly bakeries?..YUK!!!!!
