Great Dim Sum, but pricey 8/11/2008

Well I tried Ton Kiang and thought it was great. Just like any restuarant, there are things that are left to be desired and things that were spot on. First, my party and I went about three o'clock on a saturday. Turns out it was a great time to go. We had to park a couple streets west of ton kiang but it wasnt bad. When we sat down we were bombarded with dim sum. It was good and bad. Good because we got a lot of differant dim sum quickly, bad, because we felt like it was kind of crammed down our throats. Pork buns, mushroom and shrimp dumpling, pork dumplings, roast duck, scallop and shrimp dumplings were out of this world. Everything else was good. I can say that everything we ate seemed to be very fresh and tasty. Some of the wait staff was very kind and some made you feel as if you bugging them, however I think you will find this at most dim sum restuarants that have a lot of turn around. It cost us about $85.00 dollars, which was a little expensive. On the flip side everything was good with some things outstanding. Good luck, and good eating. Pros: Roasted Duck and mushroom and shrimp dumplings Cons: Parking more
