My wife and I dined at The Painted Lady on 8/15/08. We were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. Everything about our experience was PERFECT! We arrived early and were promptly seated at a private table for two near the rear of the dining room, which was beautiful. We ordered the grand tasting menu, rather than the 3 course meal. For the next 2.5 hours we were treated to an exquisite 6-course (we added a cheese plate) meal. Each course was perfectly timed and extremely tasty. Highlights: Parmesan flan, buffalo Carpaccio with spicy arugula salad, seared sea scallop w/ carmelized leeks, pate w/ blackberries, filet with red wine sauce, Oregon blue cheese, seared spinach and pureed carrots, chocolate souffle w/ raspberry cream (this was heavenly!!!). The service was perfect. Our water and wine glasses were never empty, and the waiter checked back frequently without bothering us.
