Bait and Switch Sales Tactics 8/24/2008

We purchased our RV this year at Brawleys. At first we had excellent communications with salesperson. When we were close to making a decision he offered us a deal on the RV. We came down two days later to finalize the deal and were told that we could take delivery that evening. When the salesperson wrote up the deal he wrote it at a higher price, we mentioned it and were told ""that was deal was good for that day only"". We told him no deal. His response, ""why didn't you come down that day?"". We didn't have the down payment that day. ""you could have post dated a check"". No, we won't write a check if we don't have the money in the bank. My wife was ready to walk out because his tone was very beligerent. Realizing that we were going to leave, the salesperson told us ""I have to call my boss"". Five minutes later, we were told we could have our original deal. Pros: Very accomodating shop staff. Cons: Sales tactics not very honest. more
