After I graduated from college this spring, I purchased myself a Springfield 1911 to celebrate. I went by ""The Gun Room"" to browse their selection of 1911s and was SORELY disappointed. Apparently, this shop only carries Colts. Excellent guns mind you, but out of my price range. I inquired as to the availability of Springfield arms. ""I don't carry junk,"" was the reply. I then asked for an opinion for a good CCW gun. """"I only carry a 1911 government,"" he said. Again, not very helpful. He consistently bashed GLOCKs, SIGs, Springfields, all revolvers, and even some very high dollar custom 1911s. I promptly left.
