Only good thing about this basement club is that it's not very popular with out of towners, but there is probably a reason for that. The bus boys and waitstaff are the rudest I have ever seen. I asked them very nicely to not take full drinks off the table when they were clearing. A minute later the Indian bus boy brought his other bus boy friend with him and openly started acting belligerent. Saying, "don't tell me how to do my job". Very calmly I said relax, you are only hurting your tip, then they called over the floor manager, another Indian guy, and without even saying a word to us he lifted the near empty bottle of Grey Goose off our table, as if to say, "get out of my club". This was our second bottle. We were a nice group of good looking girls and guys buying multiple bottles, and the Indian waitstaff somehow felt entitled to act up. It was outrageous. I honestly can't imagine what they thought they were doing. Suffice to say this place is way way too crappy to put up with service like that. Don't believe the hype about a mercedes waiting or VIP table service. This place hands down has the worst servers in Manhattan. I live a few blocks up from this place on Bleecker and there are tons of better places with much better DJs in the area. If it's an easy door with a short line you are after go to Highline Ballroom. You still avoid the B&T and get a much better experience.
Pros: Cheaper bottles
Cons: Horrendous Waitstaff, No Dance Floor, Dreary Basement Decor, Too Lax Door Policy
