After reading tons of positive reviews about Tiger Lilly, I decided to stop by there after work today and talk to one of the artists. I'd been thinking about my 2nd tattoo for awhile, but was nervous because it's latin script on my ribcage and i was worried about moving during the process and ruining the artwork. When I walked in, the artist behind the counter was SUPER friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I asked his name and he said ""mike v."" i told him i definitely wanted him to do my tattoo because of the great things other reviewers had said about him. because of a cancellation, he said he could do it that evening since it was small. i showed him the fonts i was deciding between and he offered to hand draw it to make it more personal. even in pencil, his scriptwork was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! he made sure i was comfortable while we were setting up and gave me some good suggestions on how to hold still. it took all of 10 minutes, but he talked and joked with me during the whole process. i'm sure in comparison to most of the tattoos he does mine was really little and simple, but he made me feel like it was important. the finished product is amazing and i couldn't be happier with it... and mike happily answered my millions of questions about aftercare.\r

i STRONGLY recommend mike v. at tiger lilly, but i looked through all the portfolios and any of the artists there would be great. the shop is very clean and has a great atmosphere. plus, it's open late!
