Terrible Experience 7/19/2008

I had a bad experience here. They did a fine job on my pants (hem and waist)...but forgot to sew on a few of the buttons...just a lack of attention to detail. I waited around while they sewed them on.\r Then I tried on my jacket and one side was significantly shorter than the other. She explained that I needed to tell her that one of my arms was longer than the other! I had never had this happen before, and the sides were significantly different, not by just a 1/4 of an inch, so I was a little annoyed that she told me about 5 times that I needed to let her know to measure both arms.\r She should have known to measure both sides in my opinion in order to prevent a situation like this, but the situation would have been fine if she had simply said...this can happen, remind me to measure both sides next time, let me fix it for you. Instead, she said over and over that I needed to tell her these things and then asked me to pay for all the items, including the jacket...even though it wasn't fixed yet. Overall her attitude was rude, she made a lot of excuses, and I would be uncomfortable taking anything here again. When I go to a tailor I do understand that sometimes things do come out incorrectly or need to be slightly adjusted...but it should be handled professionally in order to keep customers. I definitely am not going back based on the work done and felt she was rude enough to get online and spend time writing this review... try a different tailor! Pros: Plenty of parking, off of 54 Cons: customer service, cost, workmanship more
