My friend and I came here for lunch and we were grossed out by the food. We both ordered the chicken and you would have thought the sauce was actually mop water and the portions were cornish hen small. I am not exaggerating!!!\r
We also ordered the rice, and it was awful! It was cold and crunchy. Oh yeah! The cornbread muffins were terrible also. They were so hard we could have started playing softball with those things. Don't order the fruit tea, unless you expect to drink watered down orange juice. This was our first and last time coming here. \r
When my friend was asked how the food was, she was honest and modest about it. She said that she was not pleased and explained why. No effort on the part of Calypso Cafe was made to RIGHT THE WRONG!!!\r
We were very displeased and still hungry after eating at this place.
