I have lived in sterling estates for the past 9 yrs and I have had nothing but problems with everything from gng bangers to management. I would recommend to anyone that they STAY OUT of this community!! They spend so much money on making their office a multi-million dollar office, but what have they done for the actual residents that PAY to make all that possible for them?? NOTHING! They built a new playground which is great for the residents that have small children, but most of the residents here dont. They have been promising a new olympic sized swimming pool for the past 4 years that we have yet to see...and even if we did see one half the residents wouldnt be allowed a pass for the pool. You have to have a ZERO balance with the office on your lot rent and everything else in order to get a pass and at the price they charge for lot rent, which by the way increases EVERY YEAR, not many can afford to even enjoy the run-down half-the time-shut down by the health dept swimming pool that they do have here. The management refuses to let the residents know about problems, SERIOUS problems that occur in the park. They keep everything under wraps. As residents I feel we have a right to know that someone got stabbed, shot or murdered right in out SECURE community where we all live and have children. Cars get broken into all the time, lawn furniture stolen right off your deck, kids that vandalize your property or decorations that you have on your property and management does nothing about it. Moving sounds like an option doesnt it? Think again because in order to keep up with the increasing lot rent there is no room for ""saving your dollars"" to get out. Thats the reason that most residents are forced to abandon their homes here that they have lived in for years. Take my advice, I have lived here 9 years and wish I had never layed eyes on this place.
