My fiancee & I are hard-core gourmands & typically prefer our own cooking to what we're served in run of the mill spots. [We only eat at chains when dragged there against our will (we are, after all, New Yorkers).] So we enter every new restaurant with a ""prove yourself"" attitude.
Pros: spectacular flavors, fresh seafood, romantic ambience
Cons: don't go if you don't like the French (more room for us)
