It became too expensive to drive to my ""regular"" nail salon out in Carmel Valley, so I started looking online for a new nail salon to go to. I read about Fingertips, saw their rave reviews, and gave it a shot! WOW! What a fantastic salon. It is small and cozy, and very calm. You don't get the sense that they are rushing to get to the next client. In fact, Elle books an hour and a half for each appointment she makes! They really take their time and make sure that your nails look PERFECT. It's nice to know that they take their work seriously and are true professionals. The quality of their work is reflected on your fingers when you walk out of the salon -- I have had my gel nails last for three weeks without chipping or lifting. That's incredible! Not only is the environment relaxing, but it is also FUN. Elle and Tawny engage their customers in conversation,and it is not uncommon for everyone in the salon to be chiming in on a topic. They are a hidden jem in La Jolla that you must check out!
