We were new to midland tx we came from california and was use to the laws there so this was really differant to us. we had a new place to live and it seemed a bit odd the way they runned things there but we tried to adapt untell one afternoon there was a fire and our lives were interupted with no place to live. we were put into a hotel room for three days thanks to the red cross . bewildered and confused and scared we couldnt think. our sons relied on us for comfert and understanding and we did the best we could. we had no help from the apatment building manager or owner from the building we were pushed out of because of the fire. we had no phone call to tell us what was next. we lost our apatment and had no home. we were on the streets without help, it wasent even our fault. they didnt care what so ever about our feelings or the fact that we had just payed the rent and we were now homeless.they helped with nothing. we were so scared, i had never seen the look of dispare on my husbands face like that befor and we have been married for 28 years.i kept calling the apartment owner and kept getting the same responce. theres nothing we can do we have no more apartments available, we cant and wont compansate you for your loss, you should of had renters insurence. i dont think that renters insurence should be used instead of the words we will do our best to help you and your family do you? well after two days of greef and no help we called the meridian and told them of our hardship and (by the way the fire was on the front page of the paper) and they said without a doubt we will help you. within a day and a half they had us into a new apartment and a 6 month lease. they cared. they were such a big help for us that my husband was able to return to work and my family had peace of mind once again.with these words WE ARE THERE FOR YOU the meridian truely means. not just a smile behind a wall but a true smile. i highly recomend this apartment place to anyone.
Pros: wonderfull people
