I had several problems with my HBO and Showtime and ON Demand Channels getting good reception. I called tech support and they were able to fix the problem temporarily. The problem happened again and they sent a Tech support rep out to my home and he switched out my cable box and then left. The problem was still happening. I called again and they were able to fix the problem again. Then once again the problem came back. I went a month without getting ON Demand and my HBO and Showtime channels would FREEZE up during movies. I called Customer Service and got a Representative in the Philipins. They spoke very poor English. I asked if there was any kind of credit they can give for the problems I was having with my cable. The women said there is nothing they can do for me since the problem was with On Demand and On Demand is free. I then explained that the problem was with HBO and Showtime as well. They said that wasn't true cause when I called to have a tech come out to my home I stated that I only had a problem with On Demand. Keep in mind at this time I had been on the phone for two hours on hold with them trying to transfer me to the write person. I spoke to the Supervisor and pleaded my case and He told me the same thing. There is nothing they can do for me. I called back until I got someone from the United States. I got someone from the East Coast who said he doesn't deal with California Accounts that I would have to call back. I was so fed up at this point that I finally decided to cancel my services. I have DIRECT TV now and the service is great and Customer Service is based in America. Pros: On Demand Cons: On Demand only works sometimes and they have Overseas Poor Customer Service. more
