Before trying laser hair removal, I wanted to learn more about the treatments and expected results by asking questions on the telephone. Most places that I called were not willing to have a telephone consultation and discussion with me. I sought a laser hair removal treatment on my full legs, for which a package was not inexpensive. I called 5 places and asked the following questions: 1. best and worst case expected results, 2. difference between IPL and laser systems, 3. advantages and disadvantages of package versus individual treatment sessions and 4. can I receive treatments during the summer when I am tan. At Assara, I received direct answers and even more information than I expected, which led me to schedule a consultation (short answers: 1. 80-95% total permanent reduction in hair 2. IPL is a flashlamp rather than a laser and cannot provide lasting results, 3. 15-20% less cost, 4. yes - laser has settings for light, tan and dark skin). The phone conversation gave me a stand-out indication in the difference between laser centers. I currently am a client.
