I was searching for a restaurant near the West Village to host my birthday dinner. I had been to Sala on W19th Street and thought Sala Bowery would be worth a try. I am so glad that I did!!! I opted to go with the pre-set menu, and worked with two Sala employees ahead of time on the arrangements. They were so patient with the additions/subtractions of guests...even when I was sending a random email at 10pm on Friday night. We arrived and were seated immediately, even though the entire party had yet to arrive. Once the table was full, within a minute our waiter was filling glasses w sangria and taking drink orders. The food then started and didn't stop. Everything was delicious, the portions were great, and the service was excellent. I will absolutely go back, and suggest Sala Bowery to everyone!

Cons: it may get a little warm as they seem to rely on the ceiling fans
