I love this place, normally. Great food, and lots of it for a good price. This last time though, wasn't so great. The grits that were suppose to accompany the smothered livers wasn't there. Nor was the Cajun Red Beans and Rice I ordered. I didn't notice the later until after I complained about the grits, so I figure it was my mistake. I usually have great service though. The delivery guy was a little off. I buzzed him in, and it took him forever to open the door. When I talked to him, he seemed almost dazed, like he didn't know what he was doing there. I really wanted the grits I ordered, but the delivery came 10 minutes after the restaurant closed, so I got a refund instead. Great food though. Tried chicken and waffles for the first time, and it was amazing. Just opening the waffle container, and I was in heaven. I will order again. Hopefully though, I won't have any issues with my order.
