No wonder Joltin' Joe has left and gone away. He must have eaten here. On our first ever visit we went for my fiance's birthday. I made reservations, indicating it was a special event. The valet parking was great, but that was the highlight of the evening. Things went downhill from there. Service was indifferent at best, the meal took more than 30 minutes to appear, and when it came it was terrible. The wine showed up 20 minutes after the food, in spite of reminders from me. We had the antipasto (artichokes were watery and flavorless, prosciutto salty and dried out, zucchini was soggy and bland), she had the Braciole (veal, prosciutto, provolone) and it was a la Chef Boyarde -- tasted like sauce out of a can. I had the Sicilian Fisherman's Stew that tasted of bitter, uncooked Heinz tomato paste slathered over unseasoned frozen shrimp, hot and tasteless scallops and rubbery mussels and clams. Can't speak about the wine because it showed up too late -- we wanted out of there by then. When I talked to the manager he said to let him know the next time I came and he'd ""knock it out of the park."" My thought? If you don't make it right immediately, there ain't no next time, cowboy.
Pros: Valet parking
Cons: Food, service, noise level, management response
