...shouldn't be your first choice for steak.\r

Despite the other polarized reviews I went with open expectations: I am in the middle on Joe DiMaggio's. I had a good meal and ok service but I don't think it is worth the money as far as steaks are concerned. For less money and far better service I would eat at Flemings. For the same money or more I would go to Morton's. \r

RESTAURANT: the exterior and interior were very handsome. Great seating area outside and the dining room is dark, warm and comfortable. The curved booths along the wall look really cool. Too bad our party was too big to have sat there. The six of would have liked to have sat there. \r

SERVICE: our server was ok. For a restaurant in this price range ?ok? is sub-par in my opinion. Fine dining should command friendly, knowledgeable and experienced service. The guy didn?t know what kind of gin they had and his ignorance with wine was disappointing. I would rather have him fumble than fake it. While discussing a few of the wines he reached in to point at a selection and his fingers looked like he had been working under the hood all day. His fingers and fingernails were dark gray or black. Gross. His visits to the table were awkward and with an odd sense of timing. He took the orders from the guys first?not cool. I have had better service at Chili?s.\r

FOOD: my fillet was a little overcooked but had a great flavorful crust on the outside. The demi-glaze was also very tasty but I wish there had been a little bit more. The parmesan potato side that came with my filet was great. I cleaned my plate because it was good. Two of the guys ordered the 20 oz. bone-in ribeye and loved them. Everyone was happy with their meal. The girls loved the desserts.\r

OVERALL: I might go back to try their Italian food but I wouldn?t be in a hurry. \r
Pros: valet, close to shopping
Cons: overpriced for quality and lack of quality service
