I grew up eating Indian food. The dishes offered at the Indian Taj's lunch buffet are very heavy on the cream, and the vegetarian offerings are extremely bland. The food here makes me feel ill and bloated. I can't speak for dinner, but the lunch buffet is not good. Really, for anyone to rate this restaurant as ""great"" is flat out ridiculous. The chana masala is okay, nothing more (again, rather bland). I get the feeling they are trying to make the food more palatable to Americans, but people don't want watered down Indian, they want Indian.
