My BF and I stopped by JackShrimp when we were looking for a new place on the beach to it. We were let in right away even though it was Saturday night and had some kickass sangria to start with (no fruit in the carafe, though, I think they drain it). The bread was very iffy and if I were them, I?d change to some cornbread to start for a more Cajun flavor. However, I was blown away by their soups?so hearty and yummy! I had the crab bisque and BF ordered gumbo and I ended up scarfing both those down. My entree was the seared salmon salad?very flavorful. But the desert?the banana raspberry creme brulee?took the cake. So perfect, so creamy, so rich. Great new place to hop into!
Pros: Soups, sangria and dessert
Cons: Didn't like the bread. Tasted like Albertson's stuff you buy at 4 pm.
