I recently dined at Roosters and was extremely disappointed in the quality and quanitity of the food for the prices charged. The Romaine Caesar Salad was very bland with croutons that were so hard I nearly broke a tooth. The bread for the table was about as tasteless as sawdust and came with one small saucer of dipping oil for a party of 8. I selected the Grouper as my main course which arrived totally overcooked and a portion size that could best be described as palm-sized. For $22, it was very disappointing. The side dishes are a la carte and range from $5 to $8. Again, portion sizes are small and quality is average on the several sides I tried. Particulary bad was the macaroni and cheese. The macaroni was tough and chewy. Not appetizing at all. We also had to remind our server more than once for items she forgot to bring. With no drinks (other than iced tea) I still managed to spend $50 on a very sub par meal and dining experience. I will denitely not be going back.
Pros: Nothing positive to recommend this restaurant.
Cons: Small portion sizes for the money. Poorly cooked.
